I’m an AP Literature teacher and writing coach with 40+ years in the classroom.
I help students strengthen reading, writing, and critical thinking—from homework and research papers to test prep and college essays.
I’ve served 20+ years as an AP Reader (22,000+ essays) and led English departments internationally. My students have earned admission to Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Brown, Rice, and UChicago.
I work one to one with a small set of students so feedback is specific and practical. We build habits: close reading, clear structure, concise style, and honest revision.
Licenses: Oklahoma and Iowa (English, Composition, Literature, 5–12).
