Acerca de Irene
I am Irene, clarinetist from Valladolid, Spain. I am currently finishing a master's degree in performance in Brussels, Belgium and for the last 6 years I have been developing a professional career where the musical-orchestral world and the pedagogical branch are united.
I believe that teaching is an opportunity for both teacher and student for inspiration and motivation. I really enjoy the continuous learning that teaching gives me, both in terms of improving my own practice and the academic and personal progress of students. It is a very satisfying job that drives me to keep wanting to meet new people with whom I can share my experience and knowledge.

My teaching experience has ranged from children or adults starting from zero with the instrument to students with a medium-professional level. I specialise in clarinet, although I also teach piano at a beginner's level and theoretical subjects, from music theory to harmony, analysis and music history.
My methodology is based on adapting to the student, following different teaching strategies appropriate to each level and age. From playful methodologies with younger children, to specific methods with older students. I believe that adapting to the situation is always more important than following a rigid methodology.
