Acerca de Marcos
My name is Marcos, I hold a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree.
Some time ago, while helping people close to me with school subjects, I discovered that I enjoyed teaching. The more I tried it, the more confident I became, and the more I enjoyed it!
Currently, I am teaching Physics and Mathematics to students from my former high school. Besides theory, I teach them strategies, tricks, and advice to help them give their best. I like to prepare my classes to get the most out of them, and with these students, I have seen that my method works. Immediately after starting classes with them, their results improved enormously because I seek to adapt to each one individually, always looking for ways to help them improve.
During my years of education, I had the opportunity to learn English and Italian, discovering a new passion for languages! In fact, applying my own method during my Erasmus stay in Parma, Italy, I was able to not only learn Italian from scratch but also to have my first conversation within 2 months of arriving and speak the language fluently within 6 months!
Therefore, I want to share my method with others and also help and encourage others with Spanish, as I completely master it being my native language.

The learning method is as follows:
Preparatory work for the class: I ask the student to review our previous class so that, in the first few minutes of the class, they can explain to me, in Spanish, the theoretical concepts learned. This has two objectives:
The first is to encourage the student to review and keep up with the theory on their own.
The second is to reinforce those concepts while explaining them to me (which would be a second review). During this work, I ask questions to confirm that everything has been understood correctly.
The third is the oral practice of the theory learned.
Work during the class: I then explain the theory of the new topic and quickly move on to practicing it with exercises from a book. During these exercises, the student makes notes with clarifications that I propose or that they find useful.
Conclusion: In this way, all possible areas are practiced during the class to make it dynamic and very productive. Whenever the student wants, new dynamics can be proposed and incorporated into the class that they find useful and, why not? Also fun!
