Acerca de Liliana
Hello. My name is Liliana Salcedo. I am from Venezuela, but currently I live in Ecuador. I am graduated in Modern Languages and have got a Master Degree in Language Teaching. I have been a language teacher for 20 years. During this period of time I have taught English and Spanish for foreigners. I have had students from different countries like Canada, Alaska, The USA, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Denmark, Holland and many others.
I want to continue teaching Spanish for foreigners on line as I am passionate about teaching languages, especially, my native language, Spanish, its traditions, music, gastronomy and general culture.
You might be wondering how my classes are. First of all, I like my classes to offer a relaxing, friendly and very funny atmosphere, so that it promotes lot of interaction. I like my students to feel comfortable, be confident and highly motivated so that communication is developed easily and fast. To get this, I use a combination of methods such as the communicative method, the natural approach, the community method, the direct method and others. Also, I help the student to discover what their learning style is and which learning strategies work best for them (cognitive, metacognitive, social and affective strategies).
I will help you to improve your language in the four skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. Grammar, vocabulary and phonetics will be taught while discussing about topics that are of your interest and adapting them to your level of knowledge.
