Acerca de Rommy
Hi! I’m Rommy, a native Spanish speaker from Peru, and I’ve always loved languages and learning about different cultures.
I studied Tourism and also had some training in Translation and Interpretation. Over the years, I’ve studied English, Portuguese and German, which has given me a lot of curiosity about how languages work and how people learn them.
I especially enjoy finding simple ways to explain a language and seeing that “aha!” moment when something finally makes sense.
I’m a patient, curious and responsible person, and I’m always learning something new myself. I’d love to help you discover Spanish and feel more comfortable using it!

My lessons are designed for teenagers and adults who want to learn Spanish from scratch, improve what they already know, or simply get more comfortable using the language.
I like to keep lessons simple, practical and adapted to each student. Since I have studied several languages myself, I understand that sometimes a grammar rule can be confusing when it is explained only in the target language. When needed, I can use English to clarify difficult concepts and then practice them together in Spanish.

I’m patient and approachable, and I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that understanding why something works is just as important as memorizing it.
Whether you are starting Spanish from zero or simply need someone to practice with, we can adjust the lessons to your pace, interests and goals.
