Michele is a great teacher, very friendly and always makes her classes fun. She is always open to customizing the content of her classes, both in terms of longer-term focus (e.g. more grammar/writing or more conversation) and also in every class in terms of what I feel like doing on that day.
She's also very flexible with scheduling the classes, which I appreciate a lot.

I have been a student of Michele for 8 months now. She has been so helpful in teaching me Brazilian Portuguese. She is super knowledgeable about not only Portuguese grammar, but also English grammar (sometimes more than me!). Her approach is not rigid. She adapts to your learning style and preferences. If you want disciplined study sessions, she'll do that. If you want to just engage in dialogue and diagnose your mistakes, she'll do that. If you want to watch videos in slow motion and turn it into learning exercises, she'll do that. And she always keeps track of where you left off from last session and also what your special requests, requirements, and preferences are. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, she is the nicest, most energetic, and friendly person ever. She lights up the room. When you don't have energy, she has enough for both of you, and keepts things lively. I highly recommend Michele for teaching Brazilian Portuguese. I wouldn't want anyone else! Omid G.
