Acerca de Bastian
Hello, I'm Bastian, I'm an American immigrant to Spain from Arkansas. I moved to Madrid in 2021 and I've previously lived in Spain and traveled around the rest of Southern Spain.
I began studying Spanish in 2010 and completed my degree in Spanish and Linguistics in 2019.
I have been an English(ESL) teacher for the majority of the past twelve yearsI briefly(2017-2019) worked as an interpreter and immigration aid for a Nonprofit in North-West Arkansas
I've taught Spanish as a second language, intermittently since 2015, primarily in the A1-B1 range of ability.
I am not a native Spanish-speaker, but I do know first-hand how difficult and how intimidating learning Spanish can be, especially if we've not been fortunate enough to have had prior experience with languages.
If this whole process is new for you then I would be happy to help you through the most difficult steps of that journey

My background is entirely as a second-language teacher.
I have had Spanish teachers from a half-dozen countries and a dozen different teaching styles, I have a decade of experience as a teacher myself. There is no one method that works for everyone, but my priority is always meeting the needs of my students and using what they already know and do as the starting point for reaching what they need to know.

Bastian is one of the best professors one could ask for! He is considerate, fun and adapts well to the needs of his students. You can't go wrong with him!
I found Bastian when I was looking for an English teacher on superprof. He's a great teacher, always adjusting his lessons to fit what I need. We had fun practicing English grammar together, which really helped me understand better. I think others would like him because he's really good and professional at teaching, he makes learning easy and entertaining, and he's fun to work with.
